Scorecard Systems, Inc. Chosen by Cellular One for Subscriber Analysis System

System to Provide Carrier With More Robust, Accurate Reporting And Analysis Capability

TORONTO, CANADA, August 1, 2010 — Scorecard Systems Inc., the global leader in reporting and analysis solutions for mobile, cable, and fixed line telecommunications operators, today announced that it has been chosen by Smith Bagley, Inc., d/b/a Cellular One of North East Arizona, which provides nationwide wireless voice and data services to over 100,000 customers in northeast Arizona, southern Utah, and northwest New Mexico, to provide the company with a more robust and detailed subscriber, service, revenue and usage analysis capability across the organization. Scorecard’s solutions, which drive deeper, more accurate analysis of customer activity, reduce commission and acquisition costs, and put analytical ability directly in the hands of end-users, have been deployed at dozens of carriers throughout North America and Europe and currently measure results for over 150 million subscribers.

Scorecard Systems’ Subscriber Analysis Application will ensure “one version of the truth” across departments, improve precision around churn and acquisition reporting, and provide deeper levels of understanding about customers’ behavior patterns throughout their lifecycle. The solution will allow the company to measure customer activity using a table-based business rules approach that leverages industry standards and best practices, without the need for in-house coding or support teams.

“The Subscriber Analysis Application will provide us with a consistent set of analytic tools across our postpaid and prepaid billing platforms, ensure business decisions are made based on a common set of metrics, and provide us with immediate visibility into trends that otherwise would have required many hours of manual report building,” said Gayle Gouker, Chief Financial Officer for Smith Bagley. “We believe the in-depth capability and flexibility of the solution will enable us to detect and respond rapidly to changes in our markets.”

“We are pleased that in the current economic climate, carriers continue to partner with Scorecard to gain a more complete understanding of their customer activity,” said Simon Marwood, Scorecard’s CEO. “Gaining a true picture of the customer experience has been a challenge for subscriber-based industries for a long time, particularly around subscriber reporting and detailed changes in product holdings. Cellular One has avoided the intricacies of trying to build a long-term solution in-house by leveraging our solution, which has been proven at many other operators worldwide. The capabilities the system provides will have a direct impact on reducing subscriber and service acquisition costs, improving customer service, and will allow Cellular One sales and marketing management to more effectively design commission plans and to quickly monitor take and churn rates for new services and bundles.”
