Subscriber Analysis Application Part of New Data Warehouse, Billing System Conversion

TORONTO, CANADA, September 29, 2008 — Scorecard Systems Inc., the global leader in reporting and analysis solutions for cable, broadband and telecommunications companies, today announced that it has been selected by MetroPCS Wireless, Inc., of Dallas, Texas, a leading wireless personal communications service provider, to provide the company with a more robust and detailed subscriber and service analysis capability across the organization. Scorecard’s solutions, which drive deeper, more accurate analysis of customer activity, reduce commission and acquisition costs, and puts analytical ability directly in the hands of end-users, have been deployed at dozens of carriers throughout North America and Europe and currently measures results for over 150 million subscribers.

MetroPCS offers wireless service on a no contract, flat rate, unlimited usage basis in the Miami, Orlando, Sarasota, Tampa, Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Sacramento and Shreveport — Bossier City metropolitan areas. As of June 30, 2008, MetroPCS had approximately 4.6 million subscribers.

Scorecard Systems’ Subscriber Analysis Application will provide MetroPCS increased visibility into customer activity surrounding churn and acquisition reporting. The solution will allow the company to measure customer activity using a table-based, user-configurable business rules approach that leverages subscriber industry standards customized to its specific needs.

“Scorecard customers from around the globe have relied on our prebuilt solution and expertise to enable smooth conversion of reporting across billing systems, while providing deeper analytical abilities into product and value added service activity,” said Simon Marwood, Scorecard CEO. “The Scorecard solution provides a platform that ensures accuracy, data governance and auditability across departments and regions. Carriers that have deployed home-grown subscriber reporting applications typically have long development cycles, require manual code changes as business rules evolve, and often do not have detailed analysis around value added services and bundles. The Subscriber Analysis Application ensures that changes are made quickly, and analysis can be performed at a very granular level, with consistent results across the organization. “
