Suncom Wireless Deploys Commission System From Scorecad Systems


System to Automate and Enhance Dealer, Salesperson Payments

TORONTO, CANADA, January 30, 2008 — SunCom Wireless, a leader in offering digital wireless communications services to consumers in the Southeastern United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, has deployed the Scorecard Commission Manager from Scorecard Systems Inc., the global leader in reporting and analysis solutions for cable, broadband and telecommunications companies.

SunCom, which has used Scorecard’s data warehousing, subscriber and revenue reporting and analysis systems since 1998, has more than one million customers. Scorecard’s Commission Manager will provide ongoing rolling commission feedback to sales representatives and dealers during the course of the sales month.

For other carriers, deployment of the solution has led to numerous decreases in commission overpayments, and up to a 90 percent decrease in commission discrepancies from dealers and salespersons that in the past had to be researched manually.

Scorecard Systems’ Commission Manager, which has been deployed at service providers worldwide, is deployed alongside Scorecard’s Subscriber Analysis Application, which allows service providers to measure customer activity using a table-based, user-configurable business rules approach that leverages subscriber industry standards — all customized for an organization’s needs. The Commission Manager provides:

* Commission plan calculations on a variety of metrics and parameters
* Reduction of commission overpayments and costs of acquisition
* Manual adjustments and overrides
* Self-directed payment research
* Summary and detail commission event reporting

The rules are applied automatically at the subscriber/service/billing code level, with the results fed directly to a carrier’s payment system.
